Communications and Marketing

The Office of Communications and Marketing (OCM) has the mission of broadening the HCCD reach, promoting its values and enhancing its brand identity through editorial content, web content, marketing, photography, graphic design, video, social media and other avenues. The office publicizes the colleges many academic and extracurricular programs, as well as student and faculty achievements. Media relations specialists on staff are trained to respond to news media inquiries and handle external communications. Campus-wide internal communications services are also provided.

Requests are reviewed weekly in order of receipt, and prioritized based on the nature of the request. However, please submit your request a minimum of four weeks before the output is needed.

Project Request

The IT Project Management Information Services team provides leadership for planning, developing, implementing, evaluating, and managing campus-wide and cross-divisional information technology initiatives.

Technology Learning and Support Council

The Hartnell College Technology Learning Support Council (TDC) is tri-chaired by Hartnell's Vice President of Information Technology, Dr. Chelsy Pham, Dr. Carol Hobson, Distance Education Chair, and Stephen Otero, Information Technology Specialist. The council consists of 15 members representing all campus constituencies - students, faculty, staff, and adminsitration.
